The Eastern Lights project partners met in a hybrid-meeting in Istanbul on 20-21 February 2025 to exchange on the progress of the project at the 6-month mark.
The consortium meeting started with the presentation of the actions taken and the planned future work regarding project management. Further presentations followed during the first day on CO2 transportation, CO2 storage, modelling, integrated operation, and life cycle assessment.
During the second day of the meeting, partners continued with a presentation on public perception and a sociological survey that was conducted, as well as on matters relating to governmental approvals and permits, exploitation and knowledge transfer, and communication and dissemination.
Partners will reconvene for a second consortium meeting in France in September 2025.
